Super Buff Cherry Mediums Strain Overview
Super Buff Cherry has quickly earned a loyal following among Canadian craft cannabis enthusiasts for its explosive fruit profile and vibrant bag appeal. Bred from an elite pairing of Super Boof and Tropicana Cherry, this sativa-dominant hybrid stands out immediately with rich visual contrast. Deep burgundy and violet calyxes are woven through forest green clusters, all blanketed beneath a thick layer of milky, sparkling trichomes and accented by fiery orange pistils.
This specific drop features dense, medium-sized flowers curated directly from the prime harvest. While slightly more compact than oversized top colas, these medium nugs retain identical resin gland maturity, heavy terpene concentration, and potent punch. Rolled up, it offers a smooth, terpene-rich pull that burns down to a clean grey-white ash with a visible resin ring.

Loud Tart Cherry and Candied Citrus Terpenes
The hallmark of the Super Buff Cherry cut is an intensely fruit-forward aroma that fills the room the second the seal is broken. The heavy influence of Tropicana Cherry and Super Boof produces a bright, sharp red-fruit punch layered over candied orange peel and faint undertones of sweet earthy fuel.
The dominant blend of caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene creates a multi-layered smoke:
- In the jar: Pungent sour cherries, fresh citrus zest, sweet berries, and floral gas.
- On the inhale: Tangy red cherry and candied citrus that coat the palate in a smooth, velvety draw.
- On the exhale: Crisp tropical sweetness with a delicate peppery spice and subtle diesel finish.
- Smoke and burn: Exceptionally smooth through glass or rolled papers, burning clean and slow with light grey-white ash.
Upbeat Cerebral Momentum and Everyday Versatility

Rather than tipping into racy jitters or heavy couchlock, the physical sensation remains light and functional. A gentle body relaxation settles through the core, keeping you comfortable while your mind stays engaged and cheerful.
It is an ideal choice for:
- Weekend social gatherings, patio drinks, and backyard hangouts with friends.
- Creative projects, brainstorming sessions, writing, and music making.
- Outdoor adventures like daytime hikes, beach walks, and disc golf.
- Upbeat gaming marathons or watching lively comedy specials.
The Mediums Advantage: Full Craft Quality in Compact Clusters
Selecting a mediums batch gives you genuine quad-level craftsmanship at exceptional value. Because these buds develop just below the canopy top, they absorb abundant light and care throughout the entire bloom cycle.
They provide the exact same resin heads, bold flavour translation, and high THC potency as jumbo colas, but in a size that is naturally easier to break down, roll, and portion out.
FAQs
What genetics are behind Super Buff Cherry?
Super Buff Cherry is a cross between Super Boof (Black Cherry Punch crossed with Tropicana Cookies) and Tropicana Cherry. This genetic pairing produces high anthocyanin expression, resulting in rich purple colours, paired with unmistakable candied cherry and citrus terpene profiles.
What does “Mediums” mean for this flower?
Mediums refer to medium-sized buds hand-selected from the craft harvest. They carry the exact same resin density, aroma, flavour, and THC potency as top colas, but offer a more accessible price point and convenient, uniform sizing for everyday rolling.
Is Super Buff Cherry an indica or a sativa?
Super Buff Cherry is classified as a balanced hybrid. It provides an energetic, uplifting cerebral spark that makes conversation and creativity flow, balanced by a mellow, functional body relaxation that avoids heavy sedation.
How does this batch smoke and burn?
Thanks to an artisanal flush and a slow, controlled cure, this batch burns smooth and clean. You can expect easy airflow, a persistent oil ring around the cherry, and consistent light grey-white ash throughout the entire joint.
What is the best way to store these medium buds?
Keep your buds sealed in an airtight glass jar in a cool, dark cabinet away from direct light and heat. Storing with a 58% or 62% humidity control pack preserves the sticky resin heads and keeps the volatile cherry terpenes intact.
